Successful begin to the 34th ISAS in the LLZ Dortmund

50m-Rifle-Prone-Women

Characterized by the chages to olympic programme this years ISAS started with the newly non-olympic disciplines 50m Pistol and 50m Rifle Prone. Three competitions took place overall on the first day. The Men and Women competed each in 50m Rifle Prone, but only the men competed in 50m Pistol. In addition the first half-programmes were made in 25m Rapid Fire Pistol. Currently leading Ruslan Lunev from Azerbaijan with a score of 295 ist followed by Peter Müller from Westphalia and Alessio Torrachi from Italy achieving 284 points each.

The Women set the starting point with 50m Rifle Prone . Ayano Shimizu won the competition with a total score of 626,6 followed by the Englishwoman Lina Jones with 623,7 points and Yulia Zykova from Russia finishing with a score of 622,8. The best westphalian accomplishing 614,3 points was Veronique Münster (Enger). The 50m Pistol competition decided Oleg Omelchuk upon him with an astonishing score of 568, which even Giuseppe Giordano from Italy achieving 551 points could compete with. The frenchman Mathieu got 546 point and finished third. The best german Shooter is called Andreas Heise and finished fourth with also 546 points but the worse last series. The best westphalian shooter Stefan Krause (Rothenfelde) got 511 points and finished 18th.

50m-Rifle-Prone-Men

Until the early evening the Men competed in 50m Rifle Prone. Exactly at 19 o’clock the winner were able to recieve their medals. Already in the second heat Enrico Friedemann scored 630,0 points and took the leading position. In the end this score was enough for him to bring him the gold medal. The silver medal was handed to Lionel Cox from Belgium with 627,7 points. Maximilian Dallinger from Germany (Bavaria) finished third with a total score of 627,0. Congratulations to all Winners and the best of luck for all the starters in the upcoming competitions tomorrow!
